– probably because of games like this one! Richard and Paul give a master class in madness. Apologies to both playes for my annotation efforts.

Bf4 Qc8 ({Fritz likes} 11... g5 {but I'm not too  sure many humans are going to play that!} 12. b3 N4a5 13. d5 gxf4 14. dxe6 fxe6  15. Qg4+ Kh8 16. Qxe6 Bf6 {is equal apparently!?}) 12. Qg3 dxc5 $2 {this gives  White a solid advantage} 13. d5 Nxb2 {really!?} 14. Kxb2 Bf5 15. dxc6 bxc6 16.  Bd3 {White is 2 pieces up but care is needed - Ka1 immediately might have been  more prudent although objectively this is ok} Rb8+ 17. Ka1 Bf6 18. Nge2 Re8 19.  Bd2 $4 ({White had a number of "computer" choices:-} 19. Bg5) (19. Rd2) (19.  Bxf5 {all of which look difficult to defend (whilst being objectively good)}) (  {or the prosaic:} 19. Rb1 {where a piece is given back but the resultant  simplifications would surely have eased the blood pressure!}) {Richard's  choice might have fooled others but Paul is still alive to tactics} 19... Rxe2!  { and suddenly White is lost! }  20. Bxe2 (20. Rb1 {is a better try} Rxb1+ 21. Rxb1 Rxd2 22. Bxf5 Qxf5 23.  Rb8+ Rd8 24. Rxd8+ Bxd8 {but the trippled passed c pawns should be enough for  Black!}) 20... Qb7 {and there is absolutely no defence!} 0-1
