Division One games last night saw Richard lose to Steve L and Chris beat Ravi. This leaves the competition wide open!
With only seven games still to play, four players could still win it – Steve leads but others have games in hand and, if won, could overhaul him.
Four points are required for safety from relegation although three could be enough so Ravi, who is currently second, may yet escape!
All the unplayed games feature Alex, Richard or Mike so they need to get on with these if the outcome is to be know by the AGM.
Division Two games resulted in Neil beating Peter G, John beating Ben (in a game of many missed chances on both sides! – Ed) and Marc drawing with Gerry.
Only eleven games remain to be played and these are distributed amongst ten players.
Marc will win it if can overcome Peter H in his last game, as he has a high S-B so would win any tie breaker. Joe looks favourite to join him in Division One next season, although his last three games are against John, Ben and Gerry who are also in the mix, as is Neil.
