Bedford continued their good record in the National Club Championship by winning the Intermediate (average grade U150) section, played at High Wycombe this weekend. Bedford won all of their three matches convincingly 2.5-1.5, 4-0 and 6.5-1.5.
Individually, Paul scored a perfect 4/4 on top board, Steve and Chris managed 3.5/4 on boards 2 and 3, and Ben, out-graded in all games scored a creditable 2/4. More details and all the games may be found here. This miniature is quite amusing.
