Although the season is complete as far as the Bedford teams are concerned, there is still much to play for individually.
In the Bedfordshire county individual, there are four Bedford players amongst the top eight places, any of whom could win it, with just two rounds to go to be played next Sunday (11th May). Steve Ledger and Paul Habershon were first and second last year so we don’t want to see this trophy going anywhere else! Three Bedford players are also contesting the slow-starter prize so there are possibilities for everyone.
In the clubs own competitions, nothing at all is decided!
With only eight games still to be played in division 1, any of six out of the eight players can win it and six players could still get relegated!
In division 2, there are still 30 games to be played and nearly everybody could win the trophy or gain promotion to division 1.
So even if your season has been below par this far, there is still time for most to taste success (or make a right mess of things!?) – good luck!
