The annual team rapidplay tournament for teams of four over four rounds was held at Bedford Chess Club on Thursday 26th September. Eleven teams competed. Leighton Buzzard A finished first with 12/16 ahead of Bedford A with 11/16.
Unusually no player scored 4/4 but congratulations to the Bedford players among those who scored 3.5/4: Steve Ledger and Nick Collacott (Bedford A boards 2 and 3), Mike Botteley (Bedford C board 1) and Jack Hale (Bedford Young Guns board 2).
