You can now leave comments against any page or post. Please use at will to point out mistakes, make suggestions, record scores (on the competition page), suggest issues for the AGM (on the AGM post), enter debates (like that happening on the competition page) or just indulge in banter. All comments are moderated, just so we don’t become the victim of the big bad web – I am not intending on censoring anything as long as its more or less within the law – I’m sure the club’s legal eagles will alert me to any possible transgressions.

I am particularly impressed by the spell-check on this part of the site!!
E2E4, who organised the Bedford congress last September which the Bedford press went to such lengths to ignore, are advertising another one this year, from 19th to 21st September. Presumably format similar to last year’s which was Open, Under 2000 ELO/175 ECF, Under 140 ECF.
Annoying for those of us graded about 150 ECF but there you go.
Last year as I recall the flag was flown by Mike Botteley, Peter Housden and El Presidente Valerio. Hopefully with sufficient advance warning some more of us may be able to take part.
I’m afraid your particular impressions are all a bit subtle for me Neil!? (let me know)
Anyway, I certainly agree about the congress and have ghosted a proper post from you as well.
