Ravi and Qais (v a 100e) were given material early in their games and those two results were never in doubt. The Bedford A top three boards all had an edge at some point; Richard in the opening, Steve in the middle game after a Trompowsky opening and Paul in a rook ending where, as is often the case, a pawn advantage was not enough unless you play it very accurately. Still, a solid victory before the bigger test against Leighton Buzzard A on 22nd November.
