A solid victory to maintain second place in the league:-
- Steve won pawns and the R and B ending.
- Adrian and Paul both sides missed chances but level in the end.
- Ravi rose from his sick bed to keep the team at full strength. He resigned somewhat prematurely when he saw other games going well.
- Robert played R x P and instantly resigned even before Mike played a bishop fork winning a whole rook.
- Richard had active piece compensation for a pawn and eventually reached an easily won rook ending.
