It’s that time of year again! For anyone who hasn’t entered before, or has but can’t remember, the tournament is a 6 round Swiss with the first four round played at various clubs (including Bedford) throughout the season and the last two rounds played on a Sunday next May at the OU.
Its usually a lot of fun and is greatly enhanced by a large entry. The range of entry is usually quite wide grade (90 to 198 last year!) so it is certainly not beyond anyone. Transport to the various away venues can normally be arranged if required.
Bedford players won first and second (and some other more dubious) prizes last year, as reported at the time, so let’s keep up the tradition!
